Canada’s biggest daily newspaper just reviewed our 3 CRU Amarone Classico 2012. Here are the highly appreciative words of Beppi Crosariol, Wine and Spirits columnist of the Globe and Mail, that gave it an amazing 96 points :
“If one could use just a word to describe this mouth-filling red, it might be “delectable. Three words ? How about “Black Forest cake” ? That’s what this red tastes like, cherries and all. Smooth and velvety, it strikes remarkable poise for a monster that tips the scales at 16 per cent alcohol. Lavish and complex, it would be a good candidate for up to 10 more years in the cellar, though it would be smashing right now as an after-dinner alternative to whisky, brandy or rum, especially with cheese”.
We hope our friends in Ontario will fall in love with Beppi’s words….and our Amarone too !
