Located in the beautiful oasis of Ca’ Nova – an island in a sea of vines at the base of the hill of Cavaion. In a converted, old stone building, flanked by olive trees, we are sure it will become a destination for wine lovers visiting our area. There is always wine on tasting so come and visit us!
It was an amazing month of May for our Bardolino Chiaretto 2018. Shortly after its launch on the market, it won two important recognitions, the first from Italy and the second from the United States.
The new vintage of our Chiaretto was selected as one of the 100 Best Italian Rosés by the Slow Wine Guide .
It was then chosen as the Editors’ Choice for the summer issue of Wine Enthusiast, one of the most influential American wine magazines, with the outstanding score of 90 points.
Summer could not have started better, so enjoy the sun with a glass of our delicious Chiaretto !
After the successful tour in USA and Asia, the Gambero Rosso comes back to Europe and brings the Tre Bicchieri tasting event to Bordeaux. The event shoes the top wines rated in Vini d’Italia 2019 plus a glimpse of what might get top rating in the 2020 guide, the ‘Anteprima’.
The Grand Tasting will take place on Wednesday, May 15, at the Tasting Lounge, Hall 2 of the Palais del l’Atlantique.
We will be present with a strong lineup: our Villa Rizzardi Amarone 2013, Tre Bicchieri winner 2019, Pojega Ripasso 2016, Tre Bicchieri finalist, and Munus 2016. So if you are attending Vinexpo this May we would love to see you at the Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri tasting!
The O’Briens wine festival has become, over the years, one of the most exciting highlights of the Irish wine calendar. The spring fair will take place in Limerick on Thursday 9th May and in Dublin on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th.
As usual, it’s going to be an embarrassment of richness, with over 60 producers that are going to showcase almost 300 wines. The program is enhanced by Masterclasses that will give the chance to listen to the real people behind the bottles.
Guerrieri Rizzardi will be present showing at our tasting table the new vintages of several favourites, including the Bardolino Chiaretto Classico 2018 which has gotten a lot of attention in Europe and overseas.
Vinitaly International Academy, the educating body whose goal is to form international Italian Wine Ambassadors, organized a tasting for its students at Bottega del Vino on Tuesday 2nd April with the Historical Families, that comprises Guerrieri Rizzardi. It was a great success, with students from all over the world enjoying Amarone Classico in one of the best restaurant of Verona.
Vinitaly and the City is starting on Friday 5th April with a rich program of tasting, concerts, dj sets and even yoga and wine sessions.
And then there is the proper fair, from Sunday 7th to Wednesday 10th April, with 130.000 visitors expected, 4.600 companies, tasting and masterclasses.

The Rosé Revolution arrived once again at Lazise, the beautiful village on the shore of lake Garda, for the “Anteprima del Chiaretto”. Producers from every corner of the lake arrived to show they are serious about the Revolution, which champions the production of rosé wines with lighter colours and more floral notes.
The most important market for many is still Germany but growth in northern Europe, USA and Canada has been exponential. An encouraging result, given that the competition is led by the renowned pink wines from the South of France, Provence in particular.
Guerrieri Rizzardi was in Lazise to showcase the new Chiaretto Bardolino Classico 2018, for us this vintage has the ideal balance between our palest colour to date and the classic floral and refreshing style characteristic of dry rosé wine from lake Garda.

ProWein is celebrating 25 years and from what started as a small gathering of producers and buyers has grown by leaps and bounds to become the world’s ‘must attend’ trade fair for the wine and spirits industry. Based in the huge Messe exhibition centre in Dusseldorf, ProWein’s program is impressive, with masterclasses, major tastings and meetings on the latest developments, trends and innovations in the industry.
Guerrieri Rizzardi will be there once again showcasing the full range of our wines, the line-up includes many new vintages such as our exciting 2018 Bardolino Chiaretto – a different take, the 2018 is a pale coloured, aromatic rosé that is sure to win new fans. Another highlight will be several vintages of the award winning Calcarole Amarone and Villa Rizzardi Amarone.
